Long-term management in the prevention of recurrence of oxalates, urates and cystines
Ingredients: rice (55%), dried eggs (19%), chicken fat (preserved with tocopherols), dried apples, salmon oil (2%), hydrolyzed chicken liver, algae (1%, Schizochytrium limacinum), potassium citrate (1 % ) , substance for alkalizing urine), calcium carbonate (1%), a mixture of dried herbs Vaccinium vitis-idaea , Urtica dioica , Carlina acaulis (2,000 mg/kg), fructo-oligosaccharides (220 mg/kg), ß-glucans (200 mg/kg), mannan-oligosaccharides (180 mg/kg), Yucca schidigera (150 mg/kg), turmeric and caffeine-free green tea extract (sources of flavonoids 160 mg/kg and polyphenols 80 mg/kg), Lactobacillus acidophilus HA– 122 inactivated (15 × 10 9cells/kg). Selected protein source: dried eggs.
Feeding & User Guidelines:
Complete feed. It is recommended to seek the opinion of a veterinarian before use or before extending the period of use. Recommended period of use: to limit the formation of oxalate stones within 6 months, to limit the formation of cystine stones from the beginning to 6 months, to limit the formation of urate stones within 6 months or for life in the event of an irreversible disorder of uric acid metabolism. Water must always be available. In the case of cystine stones: ability to alkalize urine and low protein content. In the case of urate stones: reduced protein content and selected protein sources (dried eggs). Feed dry or slightly moistened. The recommended daily dosage is given in the feeding table and should be adapted to the current condition.
