After going through the top-performing products, there are few realisations that we could make out and we think even you would have done so.

  1. Almost all the varieties are similar in the sense that they have common ingredients and by-products. Only the first ingredient changes to give a different flavour, like chicken/meat/fish.
  2. Almost all the food products contain flavouring agents and this is not exactly a healthy condiment to be found in your dog’s food.
  3. Other than that, all products contain a similar blend of essential vitamins and minerals, and antioxidants as well. However, the food lacks essential fatty acids, taurine, natural and allowed preservatives.

This leads us to believe that Purepet is a decent brand, however, it is very basic. It does not offer anything extraordinary other than a basic dog food formula.
